Testimonial - Jacinta Palmer‘We were sick of renting and we both work in Dublin’ – Jacinta Palmer “We had been living in Bray but were sick of renting up there and spending a fortune. We were looking at different properties and thinking of renting first in order to save up money for a deposit. Once we heard of the deposit to buy option and saw the Bellingham estate we decided to go for it,” Jacinta explained. Getting the ball rolling was made easier by the team at O.N.S., who, according to Jacinta, were very quick and attentive to their needs. “We had holidays planned for August last year and when we came back we got to work organising the move to Bellingham, which we finished in just over a month.” Jacinta and Iain also welcomed the choice of styles offered to clients choosing a home, which can help to make the whole process that bit more personal. “We got to pick everything that we wanted and the house finish was superb – a lot better than we had seen in some other developments,” said Jacinta. The couple both work in Blackrock, so choosing the right home meant finding somewhere that was within easy reach of the capital, while still offering a more sedate rhythm, away from the clamour of the city. Portlaoise ticked all of the boxes in this regard, while the quality of the Bellingham development meant that there were no other major problems to worry about. “It’s nice and quiet down here and the location is great for both of us. Bellingham is also situated close to Tullamore so it’s easy to get back and forth. The commute to Dublin is also easier,” Jacinta added. The similarities between Tullamore and Portlaoise meant that the availability of services, amenities and the like was not a problem for Jacinta and Iain, while the friendlier atmosphere of a small town makes living in Portlaoise a better experience all round when compared to that of bigger places. “People that you meet here in Bellingham are friendly and say hello, so that makes the experience all the better,” Jacinta noted. All in all, Bellingham can safely be called, as Jacinta acknowledged, ‘a nice place to live’. |
